Sidne Phillips

'Sidne Phillips' (qv), a recent grad of the USC School of Dramatic Arts, has trained in both screen and stage acting since she was 6. Her first television audition, at the age of 7, was a co-star on the long running soap opera "Passions" as Young Whitney, and she booked it. In college, she was automatic breakout when she landed the role of Sandy in Grease as freshman (also starring Perry Mattfeld as Rizzo - Shameless, In the Dark - and Jackson White as Kenickie - Mrs. Fletcher). While studying abroad at the British American Drama Academy, she was chosen by renowned British actress Fiona Shaw for a one on one coaching session. She was a founding member of the college sketch comedy troupe "Elephant Department" (alongside Camron Jones - Grownish, Panic) where she wrote & performed in dozens of short sketches. In 2019 alone she starred in two features - "San Andreas: Megaquake" from Asylum Productions (Sharknado) and buddy comedy "The Push" soon coming to Amazon Prime. She also starred as Casey in the ensemble web series "Fishing" (also starring Brian Falduto - School of Rock) now in post production. However she has not forgotten her theatre roots - she was an original cast member of the long running Second City musical "More Guns!" opposite Philip Labés (Watchmen). She is now a founding member of The Homiez, a collective for artists of color, alongside Dashawn Barnes (Bosch) and Joy Sunday (Carol's Second Act, Good Trouble). In her spare time Sidne enjoys yoga, meditation, heels dance class, and binging Love Island (UK, of course).::'Sidne Phillips' (qv)
