Janet Montgomery

A native of Bournemouth in the UK, 'Janet Montgomery' (qv) moved to London when she received a scholarship at a dance school. One of her first acting jobs was a guest star role on the critically-acclaimed UK teen drama series, _Skins (2007)_ (qv), as 'Nicholas Hoult' (qv)'s love interest.Upon moving to Los Angeles, Montgomery was quickly cast in the Dark Castle film, _The Hills Run Red (2009)_ (qv). In addition to guest-starring on FX's _The League (2009)_ (qv), she recurred on the HBO series, _Entourage (2004)_ (qv) as E's assistant and Drama's girlfriend. She was also a series regular on the Fox series, _Human Target (2010)_ (qv), with 'Mark Valley' (qv) and 'Jackie Earle Haley' (qv). More recently, Montgomery was the lead of CBS's _Made in Jersey (2012)_ (qv).Montgomery played one of the dancers, opposite 'Natalie Portman' (qv), in 'Darren Aronofsky' (qv)'s Oscar-nominated psychological thriller, _Black Swan (2010)_ (qv). She also starred in 'Jesse Peretz' (qv)'s _Our Idiot Brother (2011)_ (qv), opposite 'Paul Rudd' (qv) and 'Elizabeth Banks' (qv).Other recent projects include _Dancing on the Edge (2013)_ (qv), with 'Chiwetel Ejiofor' (qv) and 'Matthew Goode' (qv), as well as _Spies of Warsaw (2013)_ (qv), opposite 'David Tennant' (qv). She just completed shooting the lead of the independent film, If You See Her (2014), and is about to start shooting the female lead in _Salem (2014)_ (qv), the first original series for WGN.::AC
