Mike Whaley

'Mike Whaley' (qv) is an American born actor best known for his commercial acting success with over 40 brands and 300 commercials, winning him an Effie Award for his role in the Walmart series of commercials. It was however, his role as the Campaign Spokesman for Walmart for 4 years that ensured him the recognition in his field and catapulted him in to further roles in the television space. It definitely helps get your name out there when you are in everyone's living room most nights. Partnering up with a powerhouse brand like Walmart for that period of time was proof of a great synergy in their brand and his personality.He is also known for his role as Malick on Under the Dome (2013), Army Wives (2007), Atlanta(2016) and Homeland (2011).Malick, his first seasonal cast role, was a series regular character in the CBS series, and seemingly the lead member of the group of guards working for Aktaion Energy.Not much was known about the character before he joined the cast in season 2, apart from the fact that he worked for the energy company. Malick is first seen when the character Big Jim asks another soldier to see their leader, which is Malick. Whaley slotted right in to that character with ease, having played many roles in law enforcement in the past. He has made reoccurring appearances in The Oath, The Outsider, Saints and Sinners and My Brothers Keeper and guest appearances in NCIS Los Angeles, MacGyver, Devious Maids, Nashville and Dawsons Creek to name a few.He is married with a daughter and resides in Atlanta with his family.::Beverly Cosslett
