Tisa Farrow

Attractive, willowy brunette 'Tisa Farrow' (qv) was born Theresa Magdalena Farrow on July 22, 1951, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of writer / director 'John Farrow' (qv) and 'Maureen O'Sullivan' (qv) and the sister of 'Mia Farrow' (qv). Tisa made her film debut in the obscure hippie counterculture drama _Homer (1970)_ (qv). She gave an especially charming performance as sweet innocent "Jennifer" in the marvelously offbeat _Some Call It Loving (1973)_ (qv). Farrow was impressive as the timid "Mouse" in the fun made-for-TV _Carrie (1976)_ (qv) clone _The Initiation of Sarah (1978)_ (qv) and solid as the spaced-out "Carol" in 'James Toback' (qv)'s fabulously gritty _Fingers (1978)_ (qv). Tisa had small parts in both _Manhattan (1979)_ (qv) and _Winter Kills (1979)_ (qv). She ended her acting career with starring roles in three entertainingly trashy Italian exploitation features: feisty heroine "Anne Bowles" in 'Lucio Fulci' (qv)'s excellent horror classic _Zombie (1979)_ (qv), spunky photojournalist "Jane Foster" in 'Antonio Margheriti' (qv)'s Vietnam action / adventure _The Last Hunter (1980)_ (qv) and a standard woman-in-peril part in _Der Menschenfresser (1980)_ (qv).'Tisa Farrow' (qv) called it a day as an actress after 1980, and went on to a successful career as a nurse in Vermont.::woodyanders (qv's & corrections by A.
