Marcus Powell

Actor, writer and character comedian 'Marcus Powell' (qv) made numerous appearances on comedy series in the 1990's, including The Real McCoy (1994), The A Force (1997), and channel 4's A Blagger's Guide To Black History (1999) (winner of the Race In The Media award for Best TV Entertainment 2000) but is probably best remembered for his portrayal of the character Roy Diamond in ITV's Single Voices (2000), for which he received a Best TV Actor nomination at the EMMA's in 2001.::CanterburyTale
