Simon Elrahi

Simon is a graduate from The Actors Centre and Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Sydney. Since 1994, Simon has been working extensively in film, television and theatre.Simon also owns Simon Shepherd Productions, dedicated to making unique and diverse stories for the screen. He is a writer, director, producer and editor of various award winning short and feature films.His recent film Flow, a 42-minute drama won Best Film for 'Simon Elrahi' (qv) and Best Actor for Osamah Sami and nominated for Best Director and Best Drama for 'Simon Elrahi' (qv) at the 2017 inaugural Sydney Indie Film Festival. It has also won the Award of Excellence at the 2018 indie-Fest Film 'Awards' (qv), Best Shorts Competition and Accolade Global film Competition. It also won Best Drama at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival 'Awards' (qv). It also won the Panavision Australia 2017, Best Film Award at the Lebanese Film Festival (Australia).Simon has written various feature films which are all in different stages of production and development... Understanding Anatomy (feature film) has had two rounds of development funding from the New South Wales Film and Television Office, the now Create New South Wales. It has also won various script honors locally and internationally, including finalist at the BlueCat screenplay competition and Project Greenlight 'Awards' (qv) based in Los Angeles.
