Christiane Seidel

'Christiane Seidel' (qv) is an American born, German/Danish actor and producer. She will be starring in the upcoming Netflix series _The Queen's Gambit (2020)_ (qv) (written/directed by Scott Frank). Previously, she played the role of Martha in Netflix's critically-acclaimed mini-series _Godless (2017)_ (qv) (written/directed by Scott Frank, executive produced by Steven Soderbergh). Godless was nominated for multiple Emmys, including Best Limited Series and winning several.Most recently Christiane played the role of Hannah (Sam Rockwell's love interest) in the award-winning series _Fosse/Verdon (2019)_ (qv) on FX.Christiane is also widely known for her role of Sigrid Mueller opposite Michael Shannon for four seasons on HBO's _Boardwalk Empire (2010)_ (qv) as the murderous nanny-turned-wife.Seidel played the female lead as an FBI Agent in the feature film _The Hollow (2016)_ (qv) produced by Lisa Bruce (Darkest Hour) and starred in several German television feature films, most recently _Dating Alarm (2016)_ (qv).Christiane is a partner and producer at Red Rope Productions (a certified minority business enterprise of New York). She has produced several short films that have screened at Academy Qualifying and international film festivals with numerous wins and nominations in multiple categories.
