Nina Dobrev

'Nina Dobrev' (qv) is a Bulgarian born-Canadian actress. Her best known television roles are as Mia Jones in _Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001)_ (qv), and Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce on _The Vampire Diaries (2009)_ (qv). Her film work includes _The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)_ (qv), _Let's Be Cops (2014)_ (qv), _The Final Girls (2015)_ (qv), _xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017)_ (qv), and _Dog Days (2018)_ (qv).From a very young age, she showed great enthusiasm and talent for the arts: Dance, Gymnastics, Theatre, Music, Visual arts, and Acting! Modeling jobs led to commercials, which then turned into film auditions. Shortly after, she booked roles in the feature films _Fugitive Pieces (2007)_ (qv), _Away from Her (2006)_ (qv) and the popular television series, _Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001)_ (qv) on CTV, which later led to _The Vampire Diaries (2009)_ (qv), where she played the lead role for 6 seasons.Nina loves to travel and has often visited Europe both for pleasure, as well as competing internationally, representing Canada in Aesthetic gymnastics.
