Alice Drummond

Veteran character actress 'Alice Drummond' (qv) was born May 21, 1928 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Sarah Irene (née Alker), a secretary, and Arthur Ruyter, an auto mechanic. She graduated from Pembroke College (Brown University) in 1950. She is best remembered as the frightened librarian at the beginning of _Ghostbusters (1984)_ (qv), Ray Finkle's eccentric mother in _Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994)_ (qv), and Clara the quiet local in _To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995)_ (qv).::Anthony Ronald Vario
