Shanker Raman

'Shanker Raman' (qv) is an Indian cinematographer, writer and director who is widely recognized for his thriller film Gurgaon, which was his directorial debut. For his cinematography in Frozen, he won awards at Asian Film 'Awards' (qv) and Durban International Film Festival. For both those films, he was also the screenwriter. Some of his notable works as a cinematographer include movies like Peepli (Live), Rocky Handsome and most recently, Mukkabaaz. For the film Harud, he won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Urdu. He most recently directed several episodes for Leila, a dystopian drama original series for Netflix.::Anonymous
