Tom Dreesen

Tom had had over 500 appearances on national television as a stand up comedian. He was a frequent guest on the _Late Show with David Letterman (1993)_ (qv)and has hosted the show in David's absence. He was an opening act for 'Smokey Robinson' (qv), 'Tony Orlando' (qv), 'Gladys Knight' (qv), 'Liza Minnelli' (qv), 'Sammy Davis Jr.' (qv)and 'Frank Sinatra' (qv). He was Sinatra's opening act for 13 years.As an actor, Tom has had roles on television in _Murder, She Wrote (1984)_ (qv), _Columbo (1971)_ (qv), _Touched by an Angel (1994)_ (qv), _WKRP in Cincinnati (1978)_ (qv) and _Family Ties (1982)_ (qv). Tom had roles on the HBO movies _The Rat Pack (1998)_ (qv)and _Lansky (1999)_ (qv).
