Makenzie Bloomer

Originally from the rural town of Blue Earth, Minnesota, Makenzie Caine began her career singing and dancing atop the above-ground, concrete well on her family's small horse farm. From there, she began performing in school and community musicals, dance recitals, and choral groups before deciding to pursue a degree at Brigham Young University's competitive Music Dance Theatre Program. She left BYU early to sing and dance for a year at Universal Studios in Japan, and shortly thereafter relocated to New York City. After studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Makenzie appeared in the Off-Broadway production of "The Rise of Dorothy Hale." She began her film and television career with roles in _All My Children (1970)_ (qv) and _As the World Turns (1956)_ (qv), and in 2012 appeared in _That's What She Said (2012)_ (qv). Most recently, she starred in the feature length film _Solomon Grundy (2012)_ (qv).Makenzie is also a talented musician, having already released one original solo album with another being released in the summer of 2014.::E.A.
