Ambika Leigh

Ambika has worked behind the scenes for well over a decade as a producer, director, and editor creating hundreds of hours of film and digital content. After starting her career with Academy-Award winning producer Mark R. Harris (Crash, Gods and Monsters) as a development executive, she began her own production company, On Purpose Pictures, and has produced features, documentaries, shorts, web series, promos, fitness content, and live-streamed events, including in-depth interviews with over 30 Emmy-nominated actors.She has worked with Apple, Sony Pictures, Nike, PBS, RED Digital Cinema, CNN, National Geographic, DirecTV, LEGO, Nu Boyana Studios, and the DGA Women's Steering Committee, as well as with Emmy-nominated director Stephen Gyllenhaal, actress/producers Lisa Kudrow, Gabrielle Anwar and Catherine Oxenberg, and Grammy award-winning musicians India.Arie, will.i.am and John Legend. Her documentary The Making of Driven, featuring Jason Sudeikis, Lee Pace and Judy Greer, premiered at the 2018 Venice International Film Festival.In addition to freelancing and running her production company, she has taught editing and post-production workflow, mentored filmmakers and youth, worked with clients as a copyeditor, script doctor, and proofreader, and is perpetually in development on a myriad of film & TV projects with major production companies, creatives and partners.::'Ambika Leigh' (qv)
