Very well known in the state of Texas for his prestigious film and television commercial work as a director/writer/cinematographer, 'Frank Q. Dobbs' (qv) has brought his remarkable expertise to Hollywood by co-producing Hallmark's mini-series, _"Johnson County War" (2002) (mini)_; The Texas Rangers, for Miramax/Dimension; two TNT four-hour mini-series' _Everything That Rises (1998)_ (qv) and _Rough Riders (1997)_ (qv); _Dead Man's Walk (1996)_ (qv), a four-hour mini-series for ABC TV; Larry McMurtry's _Streets of Laredo (1995)_ (qv), a five-hour mini-series for CBS TV; _Gambler V: Playing for Keeps (1994)_ (qv) which he also co-wrote, a four-hour mini for CBS; _Rio Diablo (1993)_ (qv), two-hour CBS feature, also a co-writer; Gone to Texas, a three-hour mini for CBS TV; plus, The Last Cowboy.
