David Briggs

'David Briggs' (qv) is a freelance director who specialises in making premium science documentaries for broadcast television and streaming services around the world. His feature-length documentary "Hubble: Thirty Years of Discovery" (BBC / Discovery Science / Bytedance) was nominated for the 2020 World Congress Of Science & Factual Producers 'Awards' (qv), 2021 BANFF World Media Festival Rockie 'Awards' (qv) and was a GZDOC Golden Kapok Award Competition International Semi-Finalist. Most recently, he has series produced and directed the 3-part series "Rendezvous with the Future" (Bilibili) which explores the science behind the science fiction of acclaimed Chinese writer Liu Cixin, author of "The Three-Body Problem".::'David Briggs' (qv)
