Troop

'Troop' (qv) is an American R&B recording group formed in 1987 and based in Pasadena, California. The group (consisting of 'Rodney Benford' (qv), 'John Harreld' (qv), 'Steve Russell' (qv), 'Reggie Warren' (qv) and Allen McNeil) signed to Atlantic Records and released their debut album "'Troop' (qv)" on June 7, 1988, which produced the single "Still In Love". Their follow-up album "Attitude" was released on October 20, 1989 and produced the hit singles 'Troop' (qv): Spread My Wings (1989) and 'Troop' (qv): All I Do Is Think of You (1990), and became a certified platinum album. They have recorded successive albums and singles which have become certified gold.::Thiz Markie
