Todd Allen

Actor/writer/producer 'Todd Allen' (qv) has appeared in close to 70 film and television productions in his career. He has worked with 'Kevin Costner' (qv) on three films and with 'Robert Duvall' (qv) on _The Apostle (1997)_ (qv), and again on _Broken Trail (2006)_ (qv), in which Allen received excellent reviews as Territorial Marshal Bill Miller.Via his independent media and production company, Virtuosity, he has a number of film and television projects planned, including some 24 feature projects, 14 television projects, two documentaries and a number of alternative tv projects. Current development projects include the gritty, noir-styled western, _The Deserters_ (qv), the romantic thrill ride, _Suicide Grip_ (qv), and _The Empty Quarter_ (qv), a timely and cautionary tale set on a drilling installation in Saudi Arabia's barren desert.More recent acting appearances was as Slave Trainer "Dollar Bill" in 'Quentin Tarantino' (qv)'s _Django Unchained (2012)_ (qv). He also starred in the independent feature, _Frontera (2010)_ (qv), playing a tough, driven Texas Ranger who brings down a drug cartel. Allen has an extensive list of films and television appearances on his resume with appearances in _Chase (2010)_ (qv), a recurring role on _Friday Night Lights (2006)_ (qv), and in guest roles on CSI, NCIS, Chicago Hope and many other programs.
