Mercedes Mason

'Mercedes Mason' (qv) immigrated to the United States at the age of 12. At age 13 she was discovered by FORD modeling agency, launching her into an international modeling career while attending high school. While studying psychology in college, she booked her first audition opposite 'Vince Vaughn' (qv) in _The Break-Up (2006)_ (qv). After graduating, she starred in _Red Sands (2009)_ (qv) opposite 'Shane West' (qv) and 'J.K. Simmons' (qv). She then continued the franchise cult favorite _Quarantine (2008)_ (qv) as the lead in _Quarantine 2: Terminal (2011)_ (qv) for Sony Screen Gems. Mercedes gained notoriety for her role in the film _Three Veils (2011)_ (qv), getting nominated for Best Supporting Actress by the UK International Filmmaker Festival in 2011. Three Veils went on to win numerous awards including Best Feature Film at ARPA International Film Festival. Mercedes can most recently be seen on ABC's _The Rookie (2018)_ (qv) as Captain Zoe Andersen. She's also appeared in critically acclaimed shows like _Entourage (2004)_ (qv), _The Closer (2005)_ (qv), and _Traffic Light (2011)_ (qv), as well as recurring in the fan favorite, _Chuck (2007)_ (qv). She was also the lead female in FOX's _Bones (2005)_ (qv) spin-off, _The Finder (2012)_ (qv), opposite Oscar nominated 'Michael Clarke Duncan' (qv). She starred in the ABC hit series, _666 Park Avenue (2012)_ (qv), with Emmy Award winner 'Terry O'Quinn' (qv) and Emmy Nominated 'Vanessa Williams' (qv).
