Alan Dale

'Alan Dale' (qv) was born on May 6, 1947 in Dunedin, South Island, New Zealand. He is best known for his eight year role as Jim Robinson in the long running Australian soap opera _Neighbours (1985)_ (qv), played Caleb in the hit Fox series _The O.C. (2003)_ (qv), featured on _Lost (2004)_ (qv) and has a long list of recurring roles. These include _24 (2001)_ (qv), _NCIS (2003)_ (qv), _The West Wing (1999)_ (qv), _ER (1994)_ (qv) and _The X-Files (1993)_ (qv). His film credits include _The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)_ (qv), _Priest (2011)_ (qv), _After the Sunset (2004)_ (qv), _Hollywood Homicide (2003)_ (qv) and _Star Trek: Nemesis (2002)_ (qv). Alan has extensive theater credits. He played the lead role of King Arthur in "Spamalot" on the West End, London.
