Max Alexander

Born Michael Drelich on the East Coast, 'Max Alexander' (qv) (sometimes credited as Maxwell Alexander) is a big-sized American stand-up comedian who also works for television (_Hart to Hart: Crimes of the Hart (1994)_ (qv), "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (1992), "Hollywood Squares" (2004)) and played a few supporting or bit roles in a couple of interesting feature films such as 'Sidney Lumet' (qv)'s _Garbo Talks (1984)_ (qv), 'Fred Schepisi' (qv)'s _Roxanne (1987)_ (qv) or Nicholas Stoller''s _ Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)_. It comes as no surprise that three of the movies he was involved in are set in the world of stand-up comedy ( _Punchline (1988)_ (qv), 'Milos Forman' (qv)'s masterpiece _Man on the Moon (1999)_ (qv) and the much less palatable _Stand Up (2007)_ (qv)).::Guy Bellinger
