Albert de Courville

'Albert de Courville' (qv) began his career as a stage director in Great Britain before turning to films in the 1930s. He directed several 'Jesse Mathews' (qv) musicals, including _There Goes the Bride (1932)_ (qv), and a 'Constance Cummings' (qv) comedy, _Strangers on a Honeymoon (1936)_ (qv). In the 1940s he journeyed to New York and got back to his theatrical roots, directing several Broadway plays.::frankfob2@yahoo.com
