Toni Alessandrini

Tiny (5'1") but buxom, svelte and sensuous brunette stripper and exotic burlesque dancer Toni Maria Alessandrini was born on June 2, 1950, in Chicago, IL. Toni was inspired to become a stripper after seeing 'Natalie Wood' (qv) portray legendary stripper 'Gypsy Rose Lee' (qv) in _Gypsy (1962)_ (qv).She took jazz, ballet and modern dance lessons prior to moving to Hollywood at age 19. She worked as a go-go dancer and soon began participating in numerous burlesque contests and beauty pageants. She won the title of Miss Bare-Bottom Tucson (AZ) at age 21 in 1971; she subsequently won the titles Miss World Burlesque in 1980 and Miss Exotic World in 1991 (at 41 years of age!). She has danced in a Playboy revue show and performed alongside both 'Sid Caesar' (qv) and 'Imogene Coca' (qv) in the show "With a Touch of Burlesque." Alessandrini achieved her greatest enduring cinematic popularity as luscious stripper Desiree in the uproariously raucous, raunchy comedy _Bachelor Party (1984)_ (qv) with 'Tom Hanks' (qv). Toni also played strippers in _Vice Academy Part 2 (1990)_ (qv) and _Vice Academy Part 3 (1991)_ (qv). She has been married five times.
