'Jayakrishnan' (qv) also known as Continental Star is an Indian actor who acts mainly in Malayalam movies.'Jayakrishnan' (qv) made his acting debut as a teenager in the Malayalam film Oru Cheru Punchiri in 2000. His other notable films are blockbuster movie Manjupoloru Penkutti (2004) and Chandrolsavam (2005). He was selected as the most desirable man from Kerala in a study conducted by Forbes magazine. He is among one of the top youth actor in Kerala. He was casted for the lead role in the Oscar winning movie Life of Pi but he refused the offer because he already committed for the super hit malayalam movie "Oru Kudumba Chithram" . Reports say that he is casted for a cameo role along with Leonardo Di Capri , Margret Robbie and Emma Watson for a whooping dream contract worth 1.2 M dollars . The name of the movie has yet not been revealed but trust able reports say that discussions are ongoing as we speak . He was also nominated for Oklahoma Film Critics Circle 'Awards' (qv) (OFCC) for his outstanding performance in "Bharatan Effect" .He was also invited to act in Hollywood alongside Margirett Robbie and Emma Watson for ' The Wolf of the wall street ' and ' Beauty and the Beast' respectively but he had to refuse the offer because he was acting in the evergreen blockbuster Malayalam movie 'Bharatan Effect' .
