Katherine Hynes

'Katherine Hynes' (qv) grew up in rural Australia where she was crowned her town's "Jacaranda Festival Queen". She came to professional acting after successful careers as a Sydney radio announcer/journalist, Travel Channel TV host and Award Winning TV documentary maker. As a talented communicator, she's been Spokesperson for Rupert Murdoch's 'News' (qv) Limited and Australian Communications giant Telstra Bigpond. In 2006 she relocated to Los Angeles with her TV director husband 'Ian Stevenson' (qv) and their two children. Booking national and international TV commercials (eg Walmart, Becks Beer, and Franklin Templeton Investments), she soon attracted film & TV roles. 'Katherine Hynes' (qv) has worked with leading Hollywood directors including 'Marcus Nispel' (qv) (_Friday the 13th (2009)_ (qv),and _The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)_ (qv)) and 'Harald Zwart' (qv) (_The Pink Panther 2 (2009)_ (qv) and _Agent Cody Banks (2003)_ (qv) She has just completed production on horror film _Aleta: Vampire Mistress (2012)_ (qv) with Chinese martial arts actress 'Ange Maya'. Katherine is a 23-year-supporter of World Vision's Child Sponsorship, and has traveling through Africa to film & write articles about the program.::John Murray
