Michael Dorsey

Mike Dorsey is a television producer, editor, and documentary filmmaker, with a passion for true crime, history, and exploring the unknown. He is the showrunner for 2022's "Ghost Adventures: House Calls" on Discovery+, and edited some of the show's episodes. From 2020-21, he was a producer on the automotive-themed crime and mystery series "Auto/'Biography' (qv)" and "Auto/'Biography' (qv): Cold Cases" on Discovery's Motor Trend network. He also edited shows for Tidal from 2018-2020, including the popular "Car Test with Elliott Wilson" interview series, an Iggy Azalea concert, and documentaries on recording artists T.I. and Masego.In 2018, Mike was a co-producer on the Josh Duhamel-starring scripted crime series "Unsolved" for NBCUniversal, now on Netflix, inspired by one of his documentaries, and a producer and editor of the hit paranormal documentary, "Demon House," with Ghost Adventures' Zak Bagans, and the follow-up special for Travel Channel, "Demon House: The Lost Footage."As a documentary filmmaker, Mike's projects include "Murder Rap: Inside the Biggie and Tupac Murders"; the Manson film "The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter," which BuzzFeed readers named the 4th-scariest documentary ever made; the WWII documentary "Lost Airmen of Buchenwald," which aired on networks in the US and around the world; and "The Oyler House: Richard Neutra's Desert Retreat" about mid-century modern architecture.In his spare time, Mike produces and co-hosts the popular "Dearly Departed Podcast" on Hollywood history.
