Martín Deus

'Martín Deus' (qv) was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1979. My best friend (2018), his first feature film, won the Grand Prix at Cannes Écrans Junior competition and was licensed to Netflix for Latin America and Spain. He studied filmmaking at the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. His shorts have participated at more than fifty international film festivals, such as Sundance, Seattle, Los Angeles Latino, Reeling Chicago, Frameline San Francisco, Biarritz, Clermont Ferrand, Sapporo and Rencontres de Cinéma d'Amérique Latine de Toulouse. He is also a music videos director, with famous Argentinian rock bands such as Tan Bionica and Bersuit Vergarabat being among his clients.::Martin Deus
