Steve is known for his game-roles as Richard Croft, father to Lara Croft in _Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018)_ (qv) starring 'Camilla Luddington' (qv) and 'Earl Baylon' (qv), and _Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)_ (qv) starring 'Johnny Depp' (qv), 'Helena Bonham Carter' (qv), 'Deep Roy' (qv), 'Christopher Lee' (qv), 'James Fox' (qv), 'Missi Pyle' (qv) and 'Freddie Highmore' (qv), _Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)_ (qv), _Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)_ (qv) plus _Shongram (2014)_ (qv) starring 'Anupam Kher' (qv) and 'Asia Argento' (qv) and other Game/Movie titles. Consequently, Steve utilises his military skills in consulting and adapting script, action, scene and dialogue delivering authenticity and dramatic impact for which Steve has become popular by combining his dark comedy and improvised characters of note, particularly in computer games.In 1983 Steve earned a working-scholarship to ALRA Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, London in it's initial year. Cleaning the Academy rooms, building renovation, theatre set-building, designer-silversmith and playing French horn in a military band earned his study in classical theatre and film at ALRA.After graduating from ALRA London UK in 1986, Steve Hope-Wynne moved from London to Vienna and parts of Europe where his career began at Vienna's International Theatre playing roles by great American playwrights including 'John Steinbeck' (qv) 'Of Mice and Men'. In Vienna he played The Times Columnist in 'Marvin J. Chomsky' (qv) _Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna (1986)_ (qv) starring 'Amy Irving' (qv), 'Edward Fox' (qv), 'Omar Sharif' (qv), 'Christian Bale' (qv) and 'Claire Bloom' (qv). Steve returned to London in 1987 to work on a police TV series _The Bill (1984)_ (qv) later _Drop the Dead Donkey (1990)_ (qv) for 'Andy Hamilton' (qv) and 'Guy Jenkin' (qv), then _Holby City (1999)_ (qv). multiple roles in successive Shakespeare and Greek classical plays while working for new writers and independent film producers including 'Sue Pomeroy' (qv) and Denis Saunders in Good Company touring Production of 'The Pepyshow' starring 'Peter Woodward' (qv) and new wave of TV Writer-Directors as 'James Strong' (qv) in Strong's 'Lady Jane' and in _Hustle (2004)_ (qv).
