Candace Cameron Bure

Candace Helaine Cameron Bure was the youngest of four children, born in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California to Robert and 'Barbara Cameron' (qv). Following in the footsteps of her older brother 'Kirk Cameron' (qv), (who played Mike Seaver for 7 seasons on the hit show _Growing Pains (1985)_ (qv)), Candace decided to pursue acting herself. She appeared in several commercials, and guest-starred on shows such as _Punky Brewster (1984)_ (qv), _St. Elsewhere (1982)_ (qv) and _Who's the Boss? (1984)_ (qv).In 1986, at age 10, she was cast as Donna Jo "D.J." Margaret Tanner-Fuller, the eldest daughter, on _Full House (1987)_ (qv) and _Fuller House (2016)_ (qv). The show's eight-year run ranks it among the most successful series of all time. Candace also appeared in the films _Punchline (1988)_ (qv) (playing 'Sally Field' (qv)'s daughter), as well as numerous television movies.After _Full House (1987)_ (qv) ended its run, Candace married hockey player 'Valeri Bure' (qv) at the age of 20. They have three children.
