Philip Serrell

'Philip Serrell' (qv) is an auctioneer from Worcester, though he did train as a PE teacher. He has written two books about his experiences-"An Auctioneer's Lot" and "Sold to the Man With the Tin Leg". He is famous for buying particular objects, known as "'Philip Serrell' (qv) lots". Typical 'Philip Serrell' (qv) lots are probably a butcher's block and a wooden handcart-anything shed built, really.::Paul Wimsett
