Nick Saxton graduated with an MFA in Acting from Columbia University. Saxton plays the Leading Role in the feature film End of the Rope, directed by Charlie Griak. He completed filming Leading Roles in the indie film Life Through You, directed by Joshua Palmer, and the independent short, Frankie Forever, directed by Anton Kliot. Saxton appeared in As You Like It at Shakespeare on the Sound. At the Guthrie Theater, he appeared in Valor, in the role of Tomillo, directed by Maija Garcíar; Don Quixote, in the role of Scott; The Nature Crown, in the role of Jobash; Master Butcher's (Originated), in the role of Markus Waldvogel, directed by Francesca Zambello; Macbeth, in the role of Fleance, directed by Joe Dowling. Other regional theater includes: The Dowagers, in the role of AJ, at the Ensemble Studio Theater; 105 Proof, in the role of Sammy, at the Illusion Theater; Franz Ferdinand, in the role of Trifko Grabez at the Southern Theater. At Columbia Theater: Clybourne Park, role of Russ/Dan, directed by Bianca LaVerne Jones; Orlando, role of Marmaduke/ Chorus, directed by Jimmy Maize, The Seagull, role of Treplev, Curse of the Starving Class, role of Wesley; The Glass Menagerie, role of The Gentleman Caller, all directed by Ron Van Lieu. Saxton is a New York based actor by way of Minnesota. Prior to attending Columbia, he performed award-winning improv comedy across the country.
