Katarina Launing

'Katarina Launing' (qv) was born in Sweden, and studied directing at the Norwegian Film School, graduating in 2000. She has since directed several short films and made her debut as a feature film director with the family adventure film _Magic Silver (2009)_ (qv), co-directed by 'Roar Uthaug' (qv). _Cool Kids Don't Cry (2014)_ (qv) is her second feature.'Katarina Launing' (qv) and 'Roar Uthaug' (qv) met while attending the directing program at The Norwegian National Film School. Since graduating, Katarina has directed short films and TV. Roar has made commercials and the feature _Cold Prey (2006)_ (qv). _Magic Silver (2009)_ (qv) is their first feature as a directing team.
