Adelina Anthony

'Adelina Anthony' (qv) is originally from San Antonio, Tejas. She is a critically acclaimed and award winning Two Spirit Xicana Lesbiana actor, writer, director, producer, and teaching artist. Along with her wife, Marisa Becerra, she co-founded AdeRisa Productions. The themes in her works address colonization, feminism(s), traumas, ancestral memorias, gender, health, race & ethnicity, immigration, sexuality, land & environment & issues affecting our Two Spirit/ queer/ lesbian/ gay/ bisexual/ transgender / womyn of color / and people of color communities. She resides in California. Since 2001 she has been actively touring the national university circuit presenting solo shows, stand-up comedy, poetry readings, workshops and keynote speeches.
